Welcome to Dadcology
We understand that dads need support too. Dadcology is a program offering support specific to dads who are looking for social peer connections with other fathers as part of their support system after a childhood cancer diagnosis. Additionally, dads are often underrepresented in pediatric cancer caregiver research and we aim to include the voices of more fathers in Momcology’s community-based participatory research process. All prospective Dadcology members fill out a traditional membership application to be added to our Dadcology support group on social media and receive invitations to ongoing online and in-person Dadcology events.

Fathers of children diagnosed with cancer are invited to attend a casual peer support conversation facilitated by trained Dadcology peer leaders. Fireside chats are a space just for dads to connect and share about the impact and challenges after a childhood cancer diagnosis specifically from the male perspective. Fathers who have attended are finding great benefit from the support of connecting with other male caregivers looking for peer support and community. All registered fathers, both new and existing, are welcome and encouraged to participate in this fathers-only event.
